Tralee to host International Marathon in 2013

Come to Tralee
in 2013 and celebrate
St.Patrick's
weekend by
running the Tralee
International
Marathon. The
marathon will take place
on the 16th of March 2013
in celebration of the
400th anniversary of the
signing of the Tralee
Charter in
1613.
Tralee lies on the
South West Coast of
Ireland in a valley
gently sloping westwards
to the Atlantic Ocean,
between Slieve Mish and
Stacks
Mountains.
The route of the
marathon and half
marathon will showcase
the culture, heritage and
beautiful landscape that
Tralee and the
surrounding area has to
offer.
Awards and prizes
will be presented to the
race winners and those
who win in specific race
categories. There will
also be prizes for the
best dressed St.Patrick
runners.
