There are many water sport schools in the County recognised by government bodies such as The Irish Surfing Association, Irish Sailing Association, Irish Canoe Union, and the Irish Adventure Centre Association. Always try to choose one of these.

What makes Kerry a great water sports destination, particularly the Dingle Peninsula is that it has a North and a South side so depending on the direction of swell and wind you can normally find a sheltered and safe place to indulge, depending on your level of expertise.
