Explore the hidden depths of Dingle

This is your chance to discover the spectacular coastline and countryside of our Emerald Isle on the DEBRA Ireland Kerry Challenge 2013. For the ninth year, teams and individuals will face the unique challenge of walking/running up to 75km over three days, amidst the beautiful, but challenging terrain of this southern peninsula.

It’s not just the sensational surroundings that make this experience unforgettable; the fun, excitement, friendships and deep satisfaction you will gain from competing and completing this challenge will lift your spirit and make it a weekend you’ll never forget!

Kerry Challenge Closing Ceremony
This year to officially close the Kerry Challenge 2013 we invite all participants to gather in Dingle harbour on the evening of Sunday 10th June for a very special event. By way of thanks and in recognition for all your efforts in helping those living with EB, DEBRA Ireland will present each team a lantern of hope. The light that these lanterns hold will symbolise the hope that you have given to the many patients who suffer from EB. Together we will watch as the lanterns of hope soar along the beautiful Dingal coastline.

We will Provide

Accommodation for both Friday and Saturday night.

All meals and snacks from Friday lunch to Sunday dinner

How to Enter
The DEBRA Ireland team is with you every step of the way. As we’ve done this many times before, we can advise you on the best fundraising methods available. To enable more teams to take part, this year we’ve ensured your sponsorship targets are achievable and realistic. Our team has firsthand experience in fundraising and we will supply all participants with information packs and supplies.

Entry Details
Sponsorship: €550 per person

You will have two months after the challenge finishes to complete your fundraising. DEBRA Ireland can provide sponsorsip cards, flyers, buckets t-shirts etc and a full fundraising pack to help you along.

Fitness Levels
This event will suit a variety of fitness levels. To enter as a competitive team you will need to be extremely fit. However, average fitness is all you need to complete the full challenge.
